When I was turned on to me or or tree by Jim Wilson of voice of eye I knew it was something special right off the bat but I had no idea what the future had in store.
Shortly afterward I befriended a Russian fellow name Ruslan who was a big Maeror Tri fan as well.
Then one day he came over for a visit in full Muslim garb saying that he had recently converted and he had stop listening to all western music and Industrial Music anything. Except for two bands...
Maoror Tri and Troum.
I find that quite incredible.
So I said about doing my best to make sure that troom came and performed in the United States near me even if I had to host them in foil I'm sure glad that I did that was one of the best times I ever had oh my God and one of the most fucked-up 2! Oh my God that true show that we drove to LA 4 in 2000 was a tragedy!! Can you believe the fire marshal shut that show down right in the middle of your set?
And then there was the infamous Troum voice of eye asianova tour of 2007...

Suffice to say that camaraderie and friendship that was struck up between us was Far Beyond what I could have ever hoped for and inspires me to this day.
But that's just because Stefan and Martin are just really good people and not only do they focus on and hone their craft to the utmost and thereby enrich the scene greatly as a result but they don't stop there. Stefan's work with drone records and transgredient records has enabled many artists like me that would never have an audience to gain an international one. where as otherwise we might never reach any ears outside of our own living room or our own hometown.

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this compilation and I'm frankly stunned that I'm in the company of such an amazing artists that I have been listening to myself for decades.
The track I chose to cover is the first track I heard by TROUM that really hit me from their very first EP so apparently it didn't take long.
My friend Karla Sputnik just told me that she listens to Asianova while doing Reiki to create a shield of armor.
And then a flash of realization hit me that that's what I've been doing all along while listening to Troum!
so thank you fellas for calling on me for this comp and for motivating me to pull my career out of the Abyss! you can expect to hear more from URE thrall and many of my projects soon!
